For Good Food Month, Parramatta is getting in on the action big time this year with a few events being held in and around Parramatta. So after reading my friend's post this morning on a few of the events being featured, I thought I'd join her in the Parramatta love and let you know some of the other events happening during October.
Paramasala
In it's fourth year, Paramasala is an international arts and culture festival that celebrates the global impact of the arts and cultures of Western Sydney's communities.
It starts on Friday 4th October with a street parade from the Parramatta Town Hall along Church Street to Prince Alfred Park - which will also host a concert and markets. The markets will remain in the park over the long weekend. A chai temple will be set up in the Riverside THeatre and there will be ticketed and free events in and round this end of Parramatta over the long weekend.
