 So, it has come and gone. 

8 September 2012. 

My 36th birthday. 

Unlike last year, which was spent without my closest friends (two of them had babies close to the 8th), this year saw a marathon yum cha session at Phoenix Parramatta, with friends old and new, talking about topics such as Target selling allegedly fake MAC makeup, the VMAs, Puberty Blues, Justin Bieber v Justin Timberlake, who Taylor Swift was talking about in her new song?, the NSW local government elections, fashion, food and babies. You know - normal stuff.

My friends are the greatest and seem to get me - as evidence by the awesome gifts that they gave me. And they all told me that my blog helped them out in the gift buying department. Yeah for blogging!!

Sunday saw me head off to the Sutherland Shire to celebrate the first birthday of one of my friend's twin boys.
The theme was that of a pirate party and Jen did an amazing job with the decor, dress up and ordering the perfect cakes.
